“Live, Love, Laugh”
Howard & Megan’s wedding day was an incredibly beautiful and special occasion. They picked Solton Manor as their venue, which was utterly beautiful, and despite the ceremony being forced indoors by the weather neither of them could wipe the smiles off their faces!
The girls got ready at The Barn Hair and Beauty (www.thebarnsalon.co.uk), which was a wonderful open space to photograph. Light was flooding in through the windows, and the natural brick walls provided lovely textures…
Megan and her bridesmaids were wearing some exceptionally beautiful jewellery, which I couldn’t resist getting some detail shots of on the old tiles…
Meanwhile, Andy spent the morning with the boys in Howard’s family home!
Things started to become very ‘real’ once the dress was on, I think there were definitely some butterflies…
There was great excitement in the cottage as everyone was peeking out to see the boys arriving!
The weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, and there was no shortage of volunteers for brolly-holding!
Love these two shots, particularly the affectionate wiping-off of the lipstick!
There was a brief break in the weather, so we were very lucky in that we were able to take some couple portraits in the grounds.
Their gorgeous little flower girl fell in love with her gift immediately, melting many hearts in the process…
The hours of hard work spent on decorating the venue paid off spectacularly…the Dutch Barn was transformed into a warm, romantic space bursting with twinkling lights.
This lot looked pretty good on the dancefloor!
Just when Howard and Megan thought that their day was drawing to a close, everyone was beckoned outside and treated to a surprise firework display. What a way to end the day!
